This designed circuit is used to control motor speed with circuit protection. It can handle up to 400 kHz Oscillator Range PWM which is flexible for single ended or push-pull switching regulation. It has also undervoltage lockout that protects the entire system from associated damage.
The circuit uses series voltage regulator which supplies the SG3526B device. The SG3526B device is a pulse width modulator that is used for power sources switching which also have an improved double-pulse suppression logic for higher speed operation. The IRFP4710 device is a power MOSFET that drives the motor with reduced switching losses and fully characterized capacitance including avalanched voltage.
The circuit is excellent for industrial applications. It uses a good insulated device such as MOSFET which also reduce losses. It is quite practical than using MCU in order to control motor speed.
